A Friendly Guide to Flirting Online
Online flirting works best when it is light, reciprocal, and easy to opt out of—pay attention to the other person's comfort.

Text can make playful conversation fun, but it also removes tone and facial expression. A joke or compliment that feels light to you may not land the same way for someone else. Start gently and pay attention to how the conversation is being received.
Keep it reciprocal
A warm compliment or playful question is enough. Give the other person space to respond in their own style. If they change the subject, answer briefly, or say they are uncomfortable, take that seriously and move on.
Do not treat silence as consent
No reply is not an invitation to send repeated messages or increasingly personal content. Ask before sharing intimate images, and never pressure anyone to send one.
The point of flirting is mutual enjoyment. Be clear, kind, and ready to return to ordinary conversation—or end the chat—if either person wants to.
