Ask Before Sharing or Requesting a Photo
Photo sharing should be a choice, not a test of trust; ask clearly, accept no, and think about what an image may reveal.

A friendly conversation does not entitle either person to a photo. If you would like to exchange pictures, ask directly and make it easy for the other person to decline. Do not keep asking after a no or treat a refusal as proof that someone is hiding something.
Think before sending
A photo can reveal a face, location, school or workplace logo, documents, or other details in the background. Check the image carefully and share only what you are comfortable having saved or forwarded.
Keep intimate images out of pressure
Never threaten, manipulate, or repeatedly ask someone to send a private image. Do not share another person's picture without permission. If someone is underage, do not request, create, or distribute sexual images—leave the interaction and report it through appropriate channels.
Trust grows through respectful choices. A person can enjoy talking with you and still prefer not to exchange photos.
